Can I cancel my EL AL Airlines flight?

Yes! This will depend on the fare you choose. Please read below for more information.

·         Cancellation within 24 hours of booking

  Ø  Customers will cancel their booking within 24 hours of the original booking without paying a cancellation fee, regardless of the selected fare

      ·         Travel booked 7 days or more before the departure date

    Ø  The entire reservation must be cancelled (not applicable to El Al Airlines Vacations reservations)

           Ø  Changed Tel Aviv Airlines bookings are not eligible for credit card refunds and will incur        a cancellation fee, whether within 24 hours of the original booking

Can I Get a Refund For My EL AL Booking?

 Refundable fare

• For EL AL airlines refund fares, cancellations prior to scheduled departure are permitted for a full refund
             
• If a refundable segment is not changed or cancelled prior to the scheduled departure time, all monies associated with that segment will be credited to EL AL Israel Airlines Points and can be used for future travel within one year from the date of issue          

Non-refundable fare

• For EL AL boarding pass non-refundable fares, each person may cancel the cancellation fee plus any applicable fare difference prior to scheduled departure. Any balance will be credited to EL AL reservations Air Points and can be used for future travel within one year from the date of issue.
             
• If an EL AL flight cancelled non-refundable segment is not cancelled prior to the scheduled departure time, all monies associated with that segment will be forfeited.           

 Can I Change My EL AL Reservation?

Yes! This will depend on the fare you choose. Please find the change fees for each fare type in the section below titled "Cancellation and Change Fees".

 If the change request is made before the scheduled departure time and on the same calendar day, customers can take advantage of our same-day change option.

 Cities with multiple daily flights

• You must change your flight before the original flight departs.
             
• You can make confirmed same-day changes online, on our mobile app, at +1-888-801-0869 or at the airport starting at midnight on the same calendar day as your original flight (in the time zone of the departure flight) ).
             
• You must take an earlier or later flight on the same day.
             
• You must travel between the same city pair or designated airports at the same location.
             
• A same-day change fee of $75 may apply, depending on your fare. 

• Same-day change options are not available for cities with daily flights.

Can I Change The Name On My EL AL Reservation?

In the case of minor name changes of last name only, first/middle name only, inverted name only, or duplicate names, please contact the El Al tickets booking team at +1-888-801-0869. However, ELAL baggage policy does not allow name changes if you want to transfer your ticket to someone else. They do allow you to cancel your flight for a fee (found in the section titled "Cancellation and Change Fees") and you will receive the full credit for your travel booking in your account.
