What are the cancellation fees for EL AL?

In the case of a refundable ticket

You can cancel your ELAL tickets quickly and easily without paying any extra. If you cancel your flight within 24 hours of your original purchase, there are no penalties or cancellation fees. Customers have 24 hours to cancel the reservation free of charge if the EL AL reservations is made 7 days or more before the scheduled departure date. If it is a non-refundable ticket

If non-refundable El Al reservations is not changed or cancelled prior to the scheduled departure time, all payments will be forfeited. How to get TrueBlue Mosaic status?

There are three ways:

·        To gain Mosaic status with EL Al flight schedule: Earn Mosaic status by earning 15,000 Mosaic-Qualifying points in a calendar year.

·        Earn Mosaic status by flying at least 30 segments in a calendar year and earning 12,000 Mosaic Qualification Points.

·        Earn Mosaic status when you spend $50,000 per qualifying purchase using your EL AL check in business card within a calendar year.

TrueBlue with Blue, Blue Plus, Blue Extra or Mint fares

TrueBlue members earn 3 points per dollar spent on any El Al airlines check in flight except Blue Basic fares, where members earn 1 point per dollar spent .

If these El Al Israel Airlines check in  flights are booked directly from the official El Al Airlines website, members will earn 3 bonus points for every $1 spent, except on Blue Basic fares, where members will earn every $1 spent on El Al online check in flights 1 point as follows: Members who purchase Blue, Blue Plus, Blue Extra or Mint fares on El Al.com will receive an additional 3 bonus points per dollar spent, 6 points per dollar spent on purchases Members of Blue Basic fares earn 2 bonus points for every dollar spent.

Mosaic members earn 3 additional TrueBlue points for every dollar spent on EL AL checked baggage size flights. Points can only be earned based on the base fare of available flights. No points will be awarded for government taxes/charges or other fees or charges (eg travel insurance, change/cancellation fees, etc.).

Cancellation Policy Due to COVID-19          

EL AL change flight has made many changes to its cancellation policy due to the increase in coronavirus disease. If a customer booked an EL AL dog policy flight at any time before May 31, 2020, he/she can change or cancel his EL AL boarding pass booking without paying any fees.
